What is Holistic Personal Training?

Holistic personal training is whatever you need it to be! That’s the whole thing!
”Holistic” means that a service deals with the “whole of you” - a holistic personal trainer understands that your life circumstance, physical and mental health all interact with each other. It is training for wellness as well as fitness!
Mental fitness is as important as physical fitness
My ”approach”
You could call it “intuitive“ or “client centred“ if you are a fan of jargon but I prefer to just call it “listening to people and giving them what they need”. That might be anything including:
- Yoga and Pilates for healing / relaxation / mobility
- Cardio workouts for a healthy heart
- Resistance training for strength and mobility
- Health coaching sessions where we work on a specific goal such as nutrition, breath work or meditation
There is no such thing as a “standard client“
I am neurodivergent and highly empathic which I believe is crucial to what I do. I am neurodiversity and trauma informed, there is no pressure to do anything, this is about you learning to look after yourself
I consider that my services have been successful at the point that you no longer need me so I operate in 8 week blocks of weekly sessions.
